Care Design Lab
The artist Valentine Maurice will give a workshop at the Care Design Lab, entitled ‘How to make the invisible visible?’ in which there will be a joint exploration with participants of the effects of sound, light, and frequencies on the user. Participants will be invited to ask questions about new technologies, which are an integral part of our daily lives, and we will explore together how data (light, sound, frequencies) can be made visible.
The workshop is free and for young people/young adults. It will be offered in English/Dutch.

Care Design Lab
Within the work of Tom van Veen we see a recurring theme with contemporary icons, collective memory and interconnectedness.
The effect of the artworks on the viewer can be seen as mimesis and something we cling to to direct ourselves. This art game revolves around the symbol, how it can touch the human being. It is something that is in the paintings, but is not immediately visible. As part of the exhibition, you as an audience can interact with or comment on the works. Join the conversation with human councillor Freek van Veen. In this way, the artist wants to create a safer space where the individual and the group become collective and can share their stories (relation to recognition of the work) in a search for openness in mental health.
